Chris has ten years of professional web development experience, three of which are strictly related to WordPress. When Chris is not programming themes, creating product management systems or stream lining the workflow at iThemes, he takes pleasure in watching various types of Japanese anime and participating in friendly foosball competitions. In short, Chris keeps his life filled with tasks that strengthen his knowledge and personal coding abilities, while still finding the time to enjoy occasional, stress relieving leisure activities.

As WP Engine’s “other Jason”, Cosper is a WordPress specialist and support wunderkind. He’s been tirelessly debugging his xorg.conf file since installing Slackware in 1996 and has been working with WordPress since 2004. Jay Thompson

Jay is the founder of PhoenixRealEstateGuy.com, one of the most widely read real estate blogs on the interwebs. A self-professed “Man with a blogging problem, Jay writes about local real estate and current events and often explores state, regional and national issues related to real estate, the economy, marketing and whatnot. Jonathan began developing for the web while ignoring his lecture classes studying economics at ASU. After starting a media conversion business in 2007 and making plenty of mistakes along the way, he rolled his SMS marketing platform into his current venture, Vuurr. Vuurr creates metric driven digital campaigns centered around ROI, and WordPress is one of the key platforms used in campaigns for clients every day.

Josh is a tenacious problem solver with a penchant for helping others. Scott has a six-sigma black belt in pay-per-click (PPC) management (not really, but he is a six-sigma black belt). After dabbling in supply chain, trading options, and hardware engineering, he ventured out in 2006 to be a PPC consultant and start his own business, Circlestone Media. Through his work with Circlestone, he became the go-to guru on all things PPC and even shared his expertise with the community through classes on Google AdWords. Scott brings a wicked sense of humor and wealth of PPC knowledge to the Vuurr team. He’s unstumpable, but just in case there’s ever a question, don’t worry — he’s got Google on speed dial.

Sean Herron

Sean Herron is a designer, developer, and policy analyst who embraces the use of technology to create and enable collaborative projects. As a Technology Strategist on NASA’s Open Government team, Sean works to facilitate open source and open data projects throughout the agency and promotes the use of open solutions to common problems.
